MISSILE SYSTEMS

MS designs, develops and produces missile systems for critical requirements, including air-to-air, strike, land combat missiles, guided projectiles, exoatmospheric kill vehicles, and directed energy weapons. MS is headquartered in Tucson, AZ with other locations in Kentucky, New Mexico and California.

Some of MS's prominent products are as follows:

  • JSOW – Joint Standoff Weapon provides aircrew survivability by allowing weapon delivery beyond most enemy air defenses.

  • EKV – Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle is the intercept component of the Ground Based Interceptor for a potential NMD system.

  • SEA RAM – Rolling Airframe Missile provides close-in ship-based fire and forget defense against low flying aircraft and cruise missiles.

  • AIM-9X – Next Generation Sidewinder is a joint US Navy and US Air Force program to develop the world's best dogfight missile.

  • Tomahawk – The Tomahawk cruise missile is the US Navy's surface and submarine launched precision strike stand-off weapon.

  • Paveway – The Paveway series of Laser Guided Bombs have revolutionized tactical air-to-ground warfare with "surgical strike" efficiency.

  • Standard Missile – Navy's primary defense against aircraft and in the near future both lower tier and upper tier TMBs. Used on AEGIS ships, in inventory in lots of international countries.

  • Maverick – Strike missile used for air to ground missions, also used in many international countries.

  • HARM – High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile - HARM's primary mission is to suppress or destroy surface-to-air missile radars, early warning radars and radar directed air defense artillery systems.

  • Javelin – Javelin is a medium-range, man portable, fire and forge anti-tank missile systems.

  • AMRAAM – Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile is a beyond visual range, all weather affordable standard in air-to-air missiles.

  • TOW – The Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided missile is the anti-tank weapon of choice for helicopter or ground-based forces.
