Engineering Leadership Development Program Overview

The Engineering Leadership Development Program (R/ELDP) is designed to give talented, early-career people the tools, support, and opportunities they need to succeed. Program assignments in engineering, operations, and or performance excellence/quality enable employees to grow their careers in both breadth and depth. The program is comprised of engineers representing two different backgrounds:

RELDPs – Raytheon’s top engineering new hires, recruited through the businesses specifically for this program, with the intention of participating in 2-3 rotations of 8-12 months to experience multiple Raytheon business and geographic locations during the program's two years.

ELDPs – Early career Raytheon engineers who have been designated by their business leadership as high potentials. These engineers have three to seven years of work experience with at least one year with Raytheon.
