Business Development is at the front end of Raytheon's business, creating robust customer solutions,
building strong relationships, and leading the company's customer-focused culture. The Business
Development LDP provides an accelerated growth opportunity for high potential professionals to be
exposed to capture and proposal management, strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, BD
operations, government relations, and international business ventures.
BDLDP participants will complete two to three rotational assignments in various Raytheon businesses
and locations over a two-year period. These rotations will develop functional, business, and leadership
skills, while also offering exposure to key leaders across the company. The BDLDP focuses on the
development of strategic and well-rounded BD leaders. As a member of the BDLDP, participants will
attend cross-functional and BD specific training events. Events include internal and external experts
who collaborate and advise on strategic business and customer issues, next generation technology trends,
and leadership dynamics.
Following your graduation from the BDLDP, you will be well positioned to join one Raytheon's businesses
as a valuable member of their BD team. The role and responsibility of your off-program position will be
based on business need and a reflection of your demonstrated performance, interests, and competencies.
